Steps After Confirming Admission
Candidates offered admission must follow the steps below to complete the process.
Upload O/Level Results to JAMB Portal
- Visit a JAMB-approved CBT Centre to upload your O/Level results.
- Submit evidence of the upload and your admission status on JAMB CAPS to the Admissions Office at UNN.
- Ensure this step is completed promptly, as admission cannot proceed without proper result uploads.
Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
- Visit the JAMB CAPS portal and accept your admission.
- Candidates who fail to accept their admission will not receive the JAMB Admission Letter.
Generate and Pay the Acceptance Fee Invoice
- Log in to the UNN Portal with your JAMB registration number.
- Generate a payment invoice containing a Remita number.
- Pay the acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (N30,000) at any commercial bank or UNN Microfinance Bank.
- Obtain a confirmation slip with your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
Print Admission Slip and Complete the Acceptance Form
- Return to the UNN Portal.
- Log in using your JAMB Registration Number, Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number.
- Print the admission slip and fill out the acceptance form online.
Proceed With Other Payments and Registration
- Follow instructions on the University of Nigeria website for further fee payments and registration procedures.
Important Notes
- Admission remains provisional until all requirements are verified.
- The offer will be withdrawn if it is discovered that any candidate lacks the minimum entry requirements at any stage.
- Candidates must accept their admission within two weeks of this publication, ending Monday, 9th December 2024, or the offer will be forfeited.
